Our Member Engagement Specialists are proactive, thoughtful, and highly motivated problem solvers who are committed to enhancing the member experience and building strong communities. They serve as trusted resources for our members.
As a member of our team, you will be at the forefront of assisting our members, whether it’s through phone calls, emails, or in-person interactions, including at the register. You will become well-versed in our industry, products, and services (electric, telecommunications, natural gas, and propane) and will be an expert at providing guidance and resolutions to our members.
In this role, you will act as an advocate, dedicated to finding solutions that meet our members’ needs and expectations.
As a Member Engagement Specialist, your daily tasks will vary, ensuring that no two days are exactly alike. You will have the opportunity to engage with people regularly in a collaborative and supportive work environment, where you will assist our members, support the community, and collaborate with your colleagues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of customer service experience including promotional offerings, products, and billing.
  • Capable of making full use of available tools and technologies.
  • Effective communication, organization, planning, and detail orientation skills.
  • Accuracy, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality.
  • Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Attention to Detail / Critical Evaluation / Diplomacy / Industry Principles & Concepts / Information & Records Administration / Job Knowledge / Sales & Marketing / Service Deliver / Standards & Practices / Technical Credibility).
  • The ability to work from either the Mount Gilead or Delaware, OH offices as needed.
