Description:
My client is seeking a vibrant and experienced Menswear Area Manager to oversee multiple store locations and drive the success of their retail operations across a designated region. As the Menswear Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Store Managers to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Performance Management: Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth across all stores within the designated area. Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and collaborate with Store Managers to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans accordingly.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Store Managers and their teams to foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. Conduct regular store visits to provide coaching, training, and feedback to enhance team capabilities and drive sales results.
- Customer Service Excellence: Set high standards for customer service and ensure consistency across all stores within the area. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer experiences and instil a customer-centric mindset among Store Managers and their teams.
- Inventory Management and Visual Merchandising: Oversee inventory control processes, including stock management, replenishment strategies, and merchandise allocation, to optimize stock availability and minimize shrinkage. Ensure that visual merchandising standards are maintained to enhance the overall shopping experience and drive sales.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure efficient store operations by managing staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll in alignment with business needs and budgetary constraints. Implement best practices for cash handling, store security, and compliance with company policies and procedures across all stores within the area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, with a strong background in menswear or fashion retail preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of retail operations, including sales techniques, inventory management, and customer service principles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising and store presentation, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Flexibility to travel within the designated area and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
