Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Menswear Tailor to join our team of artisans. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for menswear fashion, exquisite attention to detail, and the ability to create impeccable garments tailored to our clients’ precise specifications. As a Menswear Tailor, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for excellence by producing garments of exceptional quality and ensuring an unparalleled level of client satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a menswear tailor, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in all aspects of garment construction, including pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, and finishing techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision, with the ability to produce flawless garments tailored to exact measurements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a flexible approach to adapting to clients’ unique preferences and requirements.
• Knowledge of menswear fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction methods.
• Familiarity with industrial sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
• Commitment to upholding high standards of craftsmanship, professionalism, and client service.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal training in tailoring, fashion design, or a related field preferred.

• Perform precise measurements and fittings to create custom-tailored garments, including suits, shirts, trousers, and outerwear.
• Interpret and execute design specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Select appropriate fabrics, linings, and accessories based on client preferences and garment specifications.
• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment to construct garments with precision and finesse.
• Collaborate closely with clients, providing expert advice on style, fit, and fabric selection to achieve desired outcomes.
• Maintain detailed records of client measurements, preferences, and garment specifications for future reference.
• Uphold strict quality control standards throughout the tailoring process, identifying and resolving any issues or imperfections.
• Stay informed about current menswear trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting team members and fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
