Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- MSW with a specialization in Mental Health, or MA in Mental Health disciplines
- One year post-master’s experience in a psychiatric setting is required
Or:
- BA in Mental Health disciplines
- Three years full-time post-bachelor experience, 1 of which is in a crisis setting required
- Clean driver’s license as determined by the employer, and validated by the state MVA in which the employee resides
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Per Diem (PD)
Responsibilities:
- Screen adults for involuntary hospitalization
- Develop treatment and disposition planning in the least restrictive setting
- Consult with team members and MDs to ensure safety
- Provide community based screening at affiliated emergency rooms and in community for adults over 18
