Description:

We are looking to hire a Merchandising Specialist to be responsible for merchandising strategy in Europe by planning, building and maintaining store displays for Nash products. An independent and creative role it will also include making sales, collecting sales data and customer feedback, moving equipment and stock, creating and installing signage and POS units.
This role will will be based in Germany with some travel across Europe.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST

  • Knowledge of angling products and industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Energetic approach to find new ways to reach customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment
  • Problem solving and resourcefulness
  • Experience researching and determining industry and marketing trends
  • Full EU driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Install new in store assets for improved brand presence and increased commercial visibility across multiple European territories including Germany, Austria, Poland and Czech Republic
  • Work closely with Area Account Managers and customers to service, merchandise and extend existing account assets and POS items across the same territories
  • Work with our commercial guide, sales offers and sales/back order data to place customer orders resulting from Account visits
  • Report industry trends to remain in tune with merchandising and in store opportunities and developments
  • Work with other departments (sales, marketing, graphic design, production) to identify areas to be addressed and improved upon
  • Communicate with marketing team to establish strategies and design concepts for seasonal product launches and displays
  • Update displays and in store presence to promote new product launches
  • Monitor costs and work within budget
  • Work with Events and Community Manager to design and build displays at trade and public shows across Europe and where required also in the UK
  • To update and maintain our database of Planograms and Racking Inventories for all European territories
