Description:

About the Role: We are looking for an Implementation Champion to join our Gore Medical Transformation Program team in the United States to construct and lead teams and implement Siemens Opcenter Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The MES Implementation Champion and MES Implementation Teams will be responsible for designing, configuring/building, demonstrating, testing, training, and deploying MES Opcenter according to the Transformation Roadmap and deliver the value required by our customers and sponsors. It is expected that the MES Implementation Teams will collaborate with our System Integration Partner and other Transformation Implementation teams as part of bringing these system capabilities online.
This position will be located at one of our facilities in Flagstaff or Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations of Siemens Camstar and/or Opcenter
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in broad/complex leadership roles
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building teams
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work closely with IT
  • Exceptionally self-motivated & directed, and have the desire and ability to continuously learn
  • Ability to successfully navigate ambiguity, influence leaders and Associates to solve problems and deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Leaders and teams to affect organizational and impactful change
  • Strong model of the Gore culture: be tough on issues and respectful of Associates
  • Ability to travel 15%

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience deploying a new IT system
  • Experience leading other leaders with the ability to partner with external consultants for effective contribution and acceleration of timeline
  • Familiarity with business process or data management, quality management change control systems, data governance, or Manufacturing Operations Management platform software systems

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable leader of the MES Implementation Projects across all teams and functions (e.g. Gore Medical, Transformation Office, External Partners); people leadership and/or leader leadership may be part of the commitment depending on the situation
  • Be responsible for ensuring the scope of work is defined, delivered on time, on budget, and realizes the value for Gore Medical
  • Provide decision making governance per an established process, monitor the team’s Waterline, and escalate as needed
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation activities
  • Remove roadblocks by working with team, Program Leadership, Project/Program Sponsorship, Functional Leadership, etc. as needed
  • Ensure appropriate resourcing of the Project(s)
  • Ensure regular communication of Project(s) status, decisions, risks & issues to Stakeholders
  • Ensure team adheres to the established processes and ways of working, suggesting & implementing improvements where needed
  • Support the Change Management efforts required to ensure successful adoption of the Project(s) deliverables
  • Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and act immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior
