REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing, IT, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in manufacturing, Quality, or engineering disciplines considered.
  • Experience with software validation in the medical devices industry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in C# programming and SQL databases is essential.
  • Previous experience with POMSnet system is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PTL, XML, and Power Automate is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

The MES Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and enhancement of recipes and worksheets within our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring the continuous delivery of high-quality medical devices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a MES Software Engineer, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive support for all MES applications, specifically POMSNet.
  • Collaborate in workshops with key stakeholders across Business, Quality, Compliance, and Product SMEs to align recipe designs with process flows.
  • Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and Quality departments to provide effective MES support and ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, and assist in developing work instructions to sustain compliance.
  • Lead the coordination and implementation of process and equipment projects relevant to MES.
  • Validate new processes and develop essential technical documentation for assigned areas.
  • Construct, test, and verify integrated MES recipes (e.g., SAP, databases, PLCs).
  • Design and develop Electronic Batch Records (EBR) and ensure their correct configuration and integration.
  • Document MES configurations and validate EBRs to meet compliance standards.
