  • Solid experience working in delivery of works programs
  • Experience in Contract Management, Project Management or Construction is desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Supporting the delivery of meter replacement programs through core activities including issuing of works, approving plans/specifications/designs, resolving project issues, providing support to contract partners, assessing completed works, and processing payments.
  • Collaborating closely with the Works Manager to support the successful delivery of the programs’ contracts, including KPI management, regulatory compliance, work performance monitoring, risk and budget/cost management.
  • Contributing to the resolution of customer issues and supporting the improvement of performance and processes in relation to customer meter replacements.
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of programs of work.
  • Participating in regular site visits, contract meetings, contract partners’ events, and education strategies events.
  • Managing and maintaining the necessary data and information relating to the program’s delivery.
  • Reporting on programs of works and providing insights to inform asset management strategies

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Meter Operations Lead, this role will work closely with the Digital Metering program and our Partners, to deliver Yarra Valley Water’s customer meter replacement program efficiently and effectively. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of meter-related works by our Partners, ensuring works are completed on time, on budget and to the expected standard.
