Our department at Stord is now looking for a Method Engineer HVAC to establish & ensure that the discipline methods are followed in all phases of the project.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare constructability documents and implement construction and HSE friendly design
• Contribute to establishment of schedules; verify that methods are implemented in schedule
• Follow up and verify that discipline methods are reflected in project schedules
• Implement best practice in discipline methods
• Ensure that the method is ensured through line check
• Participate in design reviews, focus on constructability
• Identify and prepare documentation for yard operations
• Identify any required yard modification based on project requirements
• Organize and lead meetings as required
• Ensure involvement from the project’s personnel in development of construction methods
• Implement rules described in “Construction Friendly Design” in early Engineering phase

We think you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree / Technical college. Lack of formal education can be compensated with relevant work experience
• Experience from EPC processes within Topside and facilities and/or Renewables industry
• Understanding of how the business can be improved through digitalization
• Be able to visualised, interpreted, and used data for recommendations and decision making
• Ability to adapt to new organizational structures, show flexibility and manage various situations and uncertainties
• Understand the commercial drivers of the organization and have the ability to optimize processes to increase profitability
• Ability to achieve goals by bringing people together and gather their efforts and motivating them to collaborate towards a common goal
• Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Norwegian and English
• An Innovative and solution-oriented mindset with excellent cooperative skills
• Overall good IT knowledge
