Methods Engineer - QTMP

We are now looking for a Methods Engineer to join our highly skilled, Rollingstock JV team. Reporting directly to the Methods Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the QTMP rollingstock achieves design-for-Manufacturing-and-Assembly objectives on safety, quality and productivity . You will be accountable for:

• Ensuring strong relationships and highly effective communication between Engineering and Production teams
• Actively support and assist with the implementation of best practice manufacturing techniques
• Preparation for Day One Production Readiness involving validation of processes, equipment and tooling
• Overseeing the introduction of technical changes, ensuring its effective coordination
• Timely delivery of lineside support within cross-functional teams

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and can be based in Brisbane or Torbanlea initially, with a view to transition to Torbanlea, QLD during production phase.
