Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collects and evaluates data and develops plans for assignments that may involve design
  • Exercises individual judgment and initiative in the application of engineering principles,
  • techniques and methods.
  • Assists more senior professional engineers by carrying out tasks requiring accuracy and
  • adherence to prescribed methods of engineering analysis design or computation drawing.

  • Supports in generating and maintaining documentation including work instructions, process.

  • Maintain the Engineering Change Notification process.
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects.
  • Create and modify process control documents including standard operating procedures,

  • Conduct time studies and method studies to evaluate standard time for manufacturing

    processes.

  • Prepare bill of materials for new products and initiate routing changes if required.

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND PERSONAL TRAITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent)
  • < 1-year experience in a relevant role
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic AutoCAD software skills
  • Basic Solidworks software skills
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
