How will you make an impact?
The primary purpose of this position is to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements. Provide technical knowledge and implement scheduled work assignments to ensure not to adversely impact systems, equipment and processes causing major breakdowns or failures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform machining operations to produce high-quality components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Program CNC equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Adhere to established preventive maintenance schedule for assigned tasks.
  • Assist with commissioning and start up of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and timelines.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate (or equivalent) required.
  • 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing plant maintenance group or AS Technical degree with 1 year related experience.
  • Validated experience as a Machinist, with a detailed track record of producing outstanding results.
  • General trades knowledge, i.e. construction, electrical, machine shop, etc.
  • Proficient in operating manual and CNC machines
  • Validated understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to closely adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Ability to efficiently implement continuous improvement initiatives.
