Description:

Job Profile Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician II
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our world-class team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the flawless operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine root causes of equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance on a regular schedule to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement equipment modifications and upgrades
  • Strictly follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management
  • Has the ability to successfully pass the SMAW and the GTAW pipe test per American Welding Society Section 10.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to compete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends.
  • Work in accordance with established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and site cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) as per CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 21.
  • Follow federal state, and local codes.
