Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Summary:
Works under the leadership of the Practice Administrator. Responsible for all business planning, development and implementation in the assigned practice sites. Implements strategies to optimize revenue minimize expenses and enhance business performance. Performs budgeting, data analysis and business performance improvements. Assists in all aspects of practice as needed. Work with core management and supervisory staff to resolve day-to-day problems/issues within practice.
Responsibilities:

Responsibility I: NHRMC Standards of Performance

  • Ownership – responsible for all outcomes of efforts and actions

Responsibility II: Leadership

  • Coordinates business activity of assigned areas and ensures consistent application of policy, procedures and practice specific to business functions of assigned areas.
  • Participates in all aspects of mandatory practice meetings, to include; core management, supervisor, compliance, operating committee and Advisory Boards.

Responsibility III: Financial

  • Compiles qualitative and quantitative analysis of metrics specific to clinical or financial outcomes. Prepares executive summaries and provides other statistical interpretation on an ongoing basis. Provides the Practice Administrator with recommendations for improving and increasing performance
  • Works with the Practice Administrator to assure quality outcomes of patients and leads related performance improvement activities. Develops and continually ensures that planned, systematic, and on-going processes for monitoring, evaluating, and improving departmental operations are addressed with proper communication and documentation

Responsibility IV: Operational

  • Develops long and short range operational and capital budgets which are supported by the organizations long and short range plans and objectives. Recommends budget modifications as required.
  • Develops and implements business plans in assigned areas
  • Responsible for overseeing the operation, staffing, and productivity of satellite offices for which he/she is assigned
  • Assesses external and internal customer satisfaction through daily rounding, visibility within the practice and utilizing patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and physician satisfaction reports as a measurement.
  • Uses LEAN techniques to improve processes that help to achieve practice and network goals. Coordinates staff and physician participation.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies specific to business functions of assigned areas.

Responsibility V: Staffing

  • Completes/ensures completion of evaluations on staff in a timely fashion. Assists with ACP annual reviews as appropriate
  • Coordinates the staffing of all areas of responsibility, including the recruitment, hiring, cross-training, and assignment of staff to ensure appropriate levels of qualified staff at all offices on a day to day basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff are trained in their job functions and trained when new regulations and requirements are established
  • Provides emergency support for all office staff positions, as needed, due to staff shortages
