What you will be doing

  • Manage and lead team of Analysts who will be monitoring inbound supplier shipments across the Cencora distribution network for DSCSA compliance.
  • Perform first responder duties for all inbound supplier shipments where exceptions occur by creating and sending incident reports to our Manufacturer partners and tracking to resolution.
  • Work with Distribution Operations and AmerisourceBergen’s manufacturer partners to track and resolve logistics and product packaging issues that affect operational productivity and/or compliance.
  • Manage operations analyst(s) as manufacturer operations expands
  • Implement process improvement opportunities either internally or externally with our pharmaceutical trading partners.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to SGS team.
  • Support the DSCSA serialized product phase across 450+ manufacturers and 30+ internal distribution centers including technical support and analyses of serialized labels and providing feedback and support to manufacturer partners.
  • Additional responsibilities as determined by the Manufacturer Operations team.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technologies, Pharmacology, or related field.
  • 6-8 Years of operations, or supply chain, experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in managing operational incidents and resolution processes.
  • Experience developing and improving business processes.
  • Excellent oral and presentation skills, ability to work at all levels in the business internally and externally.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of barcode standards and applications in pharmaceutical products.
  • Ability to work with internal and external technical and business teams.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Drug Serialization or Drug Supply Chain Security Act.
  • Experience with MS Access and/or other databases and data analytics.
  • Experience working in or with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Products
  • Excellent attention to detail.
