We are currently seeking a Microbiology Sales Specialist who will be responsible for the Particle Counting product range for Beckman Coulter in Ireland.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • To meet or exceed sales targets for the Beckman PCC products and develop high level relationships with selected customers throughout the organisation from procurement to key scientific
  • To strategically manage existing customers, to help protect & develop existing business and identify opportunities for new products in PCC.
  • To perform all sales activity within the assigned geographic territory such as customer site visits, Teams calls, customer training, trade shows, customer seminars. To work on a detailed business plan and report out monthly to the management team.
  • To forecast potential sales accurately on a monthly basis to the Sales Manager
  • Manage CRM system working on all sales opportunities and sales funnels for the territory

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • The ideal candidate will be educated to a Degree level qualification specializing in Microbiology
  • Previous experience working in a Microbiology role in a GMP environment is an advantage but not essential
  • Experience in Cleanroom Environmental Monitoring with knowledge around ALCOA+ and Annex 1 would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%)

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Working with Air Particle Counters
  • Previous experience within the industry
