Description:

Williams & Connolly LLP has an immediate opening for a Microsoft 365 Endpoint Engineer specializing in modern workplace services. Under the direction of the Director of Endpoint and Application Services, this position has primary responsibility for the following:

  • Engineer high quality solutions for modern management of endpoints and applications;
  • Manage applications, endpoints, device enrollment and configure profiles in Intune;
  • Design, implement and administer endpoint security solutions and policies to ensure alignment with current threats while maintaining high performance;
  • Recommend and design innovative endpoint solutions leveraging the full Microsoft 365 technology stack, including Entra ID/Active Directory, Intune, and Defender;
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Manage endpoint policies;
  • Manage, support and deploy M365 applications using cloud-based tools;
  • Deploy M365 enterprise software updates and security patches;
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell;
  • Monitor systems to identify, troubleshoot and resolve errors and optimize performance; and
  • Provide third tier support for incident escalations.

The successful candidate will have experience with the modern endpoint desktop life cycle,
endpoint management, authentication and compliance, endpoint security, Office365, and threat protection tools. Understanding of packaging and deploying M365 products to Windows machines and incorporating M365 applications to Windows 10 Image. Experience deploying and configuring M365 applications such as OneDrive, Teams, Defender and SharePoint Online. Experience planning and deploying M365 enterprise software updates and security patches. At least five years of endpoint and application support experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience is required. Microsoft 365 certifications including Endpoint Administrator Associate is required.
The successful candidate must be detail oriented, customer service focused, well organized, self-motivated, creative, and work well as part of a team. Additionally, they must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and communicate proactively to management. The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and install various types of IT equipment is required.
This position will be eligible to work the department’s approved hybrid schedule
