  The Microsoft Azure Engineer (m/w/d) should have deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Services with a focus on infrastructures. Supports the delivery team with technical expertise and input for the creation and further development of operational standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the cloud operations of the customers
• Identify issues, find solutions and workarounds, or escalate issues to the appropriate interfaces.
• Contribute to DevOps development activities and deployment pipelines, as well as working closely with our experts.
• Development of automation solutions in Azure
• Procedures for monitoring, securing and recovering applications or infrastructure.

Requirements

• Good technical understanding of the cloud solutions
• Team spirit and willingness to cooperate as well as responsible and self-initiated work
• Good communication skills and fluent written and spoken German and English

Qualifications (Expert knowledge)

• Azure infrastructure solution(s), such as: Windows and Linux IaaS, Backup & Site Recovery, Monitoring, Storage, Networking, SAP, Container Technologies, Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, Event Grid/Hub
• Deployment and configuration of cloud solutions using e.g. PowerShell, Azure CLI and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates)
• Windows-based infrastructures, including Windows Server and Active Directory
• Network infrastructures and concepts (DNS, DHCP, Routing)

Advantage (Nice to have/experience in)

• Project Management for digitalization
• Knowledge of the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the development of governance in Azure
• Migrate or transform legacy customer workloads to the cloud.
