We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer with a strong background in Azure cloud services. The successful candidate will be part of our team driving the transformation of enterprise applications, focusing on robust, scalable solutions that are integrated seamlessly with our cloud-first strategy. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the delivery of top-tier solutions for our customers.
This is a fully remote, full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an overarching, service level-driven performance monitoring and management approach that enables transparent government monitoring of service area inputs and outputs along with service improvements
  • Refine and evolve performance metrics across the service ecosystem that track service and operational performance to illustrate trends over time to drive accountability and highlight areas for service improvement
  • Lead and support initiatives to evolve Performance Management program capabilities to help facilitate better data driven decision making, ideally including technical skills leveraging such tools as PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Apps development
  • Maintain and execute a strategic, tactical, and operational Performance Management model and governance plan to include customer experience
  • Design and maintain executive level scorecards and dashboards for real-time monitoring of IT services
  • Assess situations and make prudent and appropriate decisions, apply conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, and interpret and draw valid conclusions from data
  • Develop key relationships and influence across the IT services ecosystem

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Ability to pass a federal background check successfully and maintain eligibility for continued access authorizations, including periodic drug screenings, granted by such a successful background check.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 experience supporting performance management in a federal government environment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerApps applications that automate business processes and workflows. Consult with end-users and stakeholders to understand automation needs and requirements. Integrate PowerApps with Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to deploy and manage PowerApps in a secure and compliant manner.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and resolve issues.
  • Previous work in an agile environment and understanding of Scrum or other agile methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of version control tools, preferably Git.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in developing Canvas and Model-driven apps in PowerApps.
  • Ability to design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Skill in connecting PowerApps with various data sources like SharePoint, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in integrating Power BI dashboards and reports into PowerApps.
  • Familiarity with Azure services relevant to PowerApps, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure AD.
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX principles to create intuitive and user-friendly applications.
  • Knowledge of implementing secure and compliant solutions, including data governance and privacy policies.
  • Experience in custom API integration and understanding of HTTP, JSON, OAuth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role.
  • Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and able to operate in a proactive way.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logical thinker and intellectual curiosity
