JOB BRIEF

We are looking to hire a mid-level copywriter with a strong portfolio of work filled with inspirational, effective storytelling and copy. You will work with an intimate team of creatives on projects for top automotive brands.

Your job would be to concept remarkable content and marketing campaigns for the CRM platform to meet the needs of the automotive brand and its Dealers. The projects you’ll work on include customer communications and campaigns for Sales, Service, Parts, Accessories, Events, and promotions/messaging in the automotive space.

  • Write smart, witty, conversational copy for integrated marketing campaigns, sales materials, emails, landing pages, videos, direct mail, and more that delivers results.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and account managers.
  • Adhere to best practices in terms of proofreading, QA, routing, and inter-department communications.
  • Capture brand voice and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Participate in internal and external creative briefings, pitches, brainstorm sessions and status meetings. You’re comfortable (and experienced) lending your creative POV across functions.
  • Keep up to speed on digital, social, and marketing trends and apply those tactics to projects.
  • Thrive on feedback. You value creative refinement, whether the pushes come from creative leads or from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Working to various timelines, in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering creative that is accurate and consistent.
  • Maintains company creative standards and consistency. You’re committed to upholding quality for every deliverable: print, video, digital, and more.
  • Writing for online user interface experiences, including mobile is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience copywriting at agencies, studios, or in-house.
  • A strong portfolio of work showing a range of mediums, including digital and video for automotive clients.
  • Show examples of writing for automotive brands across the entire customer journey
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects at once.
  • A commitment to quality and strong communication skills
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently within tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative - ability to work seamlessly with agency departments
