mid-level electrical/mechatronics engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• At Tungray Singapore, we are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is critical in designing and developing sophisticated industrial test and tooling solutions that meet the bespoke needs of our customers in the semiconductor, electronics, and home appliance industries.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in mechatronics engineering, particularly in industrial automation or related fields.
• Proficient with at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, VB.net
• Strong understanding of the integration of electronic control systems and mechanical systems.
• Experience with PLC programming and implementation.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or home appliance manufacturing sectors.
• Hands-on experience with sensor technologies, motor control, and robotics.
• Familiarity with industry standards and certifications relevant to mechatronics and industrial manufacturing.

• Design, develop, and implement mechatronic systems for customized industrial test and tooling solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, mechanics, and control systems.
• Create detailed mechatronics system documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
• Conduct prototype testing and make adjustments to designs as needed to ensure systems meet customer specifications.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing and assembly processes.
