The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Technical Designer (Level 3) for the Electrical SubSystem (ESS) team in Everett, WA.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the advancement of ESS technology and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects to our airline customers.
As an Electrical Technical Designer, you will collaborate and integrate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, and stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Associate degree or related certification and 2 years of related experience or an equivalent. combination of technical education and experience.
  • Experience working in a diverse team environment.
  • Experience in Enovia.
  • Experience in PDM.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience working with Boeing systems, including DCCS, ECAS, ETAC and Certification Plan Owner activities.
  • Experience in CATIA.
  • Experience in Functional Schematic.
  • Experience in a role that required strong oral and written communications skills.

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years’ related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, maintains, and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards. Using design tools prepares documentation and incorporates design changes.
  • Creates, develops, and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies.
  • Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities.
  • Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex.
  • Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers.
  • Works under general direction.
