Position Overview: We are looking for a Mid-level Lawyer with a strong background in law and experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support to various departments within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing legal risks. • Provide legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters related to cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial regulation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends, advising on their potential impact on the organization.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as necessary to address complex legal issues and inquiries.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing legal expertise and insights to support organizational objectives.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in at least one jurisdiction; additional bar admissions preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate, securities, or regulatory matters.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial services regulation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess legal risks and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
