Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Mid - Level and Senior Project Engineer – Program Integration Managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in Propulsion Engineering
  • Experience with BDS certification and processes is required
  • Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to understand complex problems
  • Strong project and time management skills; Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects in support of key milestones and aircraft delivery schedules
  • Excellent communication skills; Ability to clearly communicate complex scenarios with internal and external Leaders and technical SMEs is required
  • Experience working multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience working regulation exemption and/or equivalent level of safety (ELOS) process is preferred
  • Knowledge of airplane safety is preferred
  • Experience with certification is preferred
  • Understanding of large transport category aircraft certification process is preferred
  • Able to work under general supervision and self-direct work based on needs of customers, product, and stakeholders
  • Able to represent the company professionally in demanding environments
  • Able to work effectively with the entire value stream to accomplish desired results
  • Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Able to independently develop innovative solutions that meet business targets

Responsibilities:

  • Integrates and coordinate between BCA engineering IPTs, BDS, BGS, CFM, other suppliers and military operators on activities for P-8, AEW&C and other potential 737 based military derivative platforms.
  • Leads multi-disciplined teams to successful resolution of complex technical issues on the 737 Military Derivative Programs.
  • Interpret requirements from BDS, develops schedules, sets milestones and executable action plans.
  • Reviews CITAPs and TRS (Technical Service Requests) from BDS to Propulsion.
  • Leads teams to assure proper integration of propulsion changes and certification deliverables to support program schedules.
  • Interfaces with BDS and CFM to drive successful collaborations on P8 production projects and certification activities in support of the E-7.
  • Coordinates with internal & external partners such as Engine Management, Contracts, Flight Test, Service Engineering, Manufacturing, Reg Admin, and BDS to successfully meet project goals and schedules.
  • Develops and implement future 737 based military derivatives through BCA engineering and integrate with BDS.
  • Maintains design oversight of changes between military and commercial configs.
  • Functions as Propulsion Safe-to-Fly focal and Safe-to-Fly DAE.
  • Reviews Boeing and CFM Service Bulletins and make propulsion related incorporation recommendations for AEW&C fleet.
