Maximus is seeking a talented Mid-Level Python Developer with Swimlane SOAR engineering experience to join our dynamic team and revolutionize our security defense!

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge automation workflows using

Swimlane SOAR.

• Integrate SOAR with your security ecosystem, bringing orchestration and

efficiency to VA OCIO.

• Analyze security incidents and craft playbooks that proactively respond to

and mitigate threats.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the SOAR platform for peak

performance.

• Collaborate with security analysts and threat intelligence teams to

continuously refine your defenses.

• Share your expertise through internal training and documentation.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or

related fields.

• Ability to work on-site in Hines, Illinois (Greater Chicago area) or Martinsburg, West Virginia in a hybrid work environment (80% remote, 20% on-site).
• 5 years of Python experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to dissect complex security issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with

diverse teams.

• A passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements
TCS194, T2, Band 5

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and incident response

processes.

• Experience with security tools like SIEM, EDR, or threat intelligence

platforms.

• Proficiency in Swimlane SOAR.
• Certifications in SOAR, security analytics, or related fields:

Swimlane Certified SOAR Administrator (SCSA) or Developer (SCSD)
Swimlane Certified SOAR User (SCSU)

Security+.

• A drive to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving threat landscape.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate’s education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
