As an Associate in Commercial Litigation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the disputes partnership on a diverse range of litigation and arbitration files. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve active case management, conducting detailed research and analysis, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in various proceedings. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners, gaining invaluable insights into dispute resolution. • Provide comprehensive support to the disputes partnership on a variety of litigation and arbitration files
• Engage in active case management, ensuring efficient progression of cases
• Conduct thorough research and analysis related to complex commercial disputes
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and agreements
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

The ideal candidate for this position will bring at least three years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably with a focus on litigation or dispute resolution. You should possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to navigate complex legal issues effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be liaising with clients and representing them in various proceedings. Your organisational skills will be put to good use managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Above all, a high level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards is expected.

• Possess at least 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Demonstrate relevant experience in litigation or dispute resolution
• Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex legal issues
• Showcase excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Display strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
