Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Shipside Operations Specialist to join the team based out of Auburn, Washington.
This is an opportunity to join a high-skilled team, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, that works together to meet our customers’ needs with quality, speed, and efficiency. As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Line Side Control Center teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ years of experience working in operations analysis or operations research.
  • 1+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Customer Support.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results.
  • Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues.
  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues.
  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
  • Works under general direction.
