Description:

We are in search of a Middle Application Support Engineer to become a part of our remote team.
As a crucial part of the global 24x7 support organization, your main task will be to lend technical assistance and support to our customers who utilize our Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs. In addition, you’ll work in tandem with engineers and product managers to enhance the product, isolate product bugs, and log feature requests. Your knowledge of GCP Databases, GCP Storage, and Linux Administration will be instrumental for providing unparalleled customer support. Being an excellent communicator and a team-oriented professional, you’ll work hand in hand with internal support teams and customers to implement effective solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of development experience in any of the following languages: Java, Javascript, PHP, Python, Go, .NET, Ruby, Node.js
  • Familiarity with Software Architecture Patterns such as Monolith, Distributed, Microservices
  • Proven experience in Building Web Applications/Web Services/APIs
  • Skills in querying Relational Databases such as MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL
  • Support experience comprising monitoring, software maintenance, introduction of new features, etc
  • Profound knowledge of GCP Databases and GCP Storage
  • Familiarity with Linux Administration and Network basics
  • Excellent communication skills including comprehensive documentation and reporting abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Proficiency in English, capable of effectively communicating with customers and teams

Responsibilities:

  • Technical support and assistance provision to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs
  • Collaborative work with engineers and product managers to better the product and satisfy our customers
  • Handling of incident tickets and change requests for the remaining Infrastructure Teams such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
  • Adherence to notification and escalation procedures
  • Compliance with communication norms regarding operational issues
  • Identification and documentation of product bugs and feature requests as well as collaboration with customers and internal support teams to implement efficient solutions
  • Collaboration with internal support teams to enhance cloud products at a senior level
