The Banker Associate role is integral to the success of each line of business they support, helping to drive the strategic vision set forth by Texas Capital Bank.
This mid-level position will support a variety of lines of businesses within the bank, including Commercial Banking, Energy, Finance & Accounting, Commercial Real Estate, Private Wealth, and Treasury Services.
Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to process large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions, all while maintaining a strong and efficient attention to detail. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deal qualifications
- Preparation Balance Sheet Committee memoranda
- Ownership of credit approval process (new customers, modifications, increases, COVID-19 actions)
- Pitchbook creation
- Ownership of term sheet preparation
- Partner with Portfolio Manager to verify Covenant management ownership
- Past-due management
- Document review & negotiation
- Ownership of post-approval modification process
- Document review and negotiation (engaging counsel as necessary)
- Client management, including ownership of day-to-day needs, contact meetings, and site visits
- Client management in SalesForce
- Third-party report engagement and review
- Field exam coordination
- Identify cross-sell opportunities
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Commercial Banking or equivalent/relevant program
- 3-5 year’s experience in Corporate, Commercial, or Middle Market Banking
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Extraordinary levels of motivation and initiative
- Effective team players who want to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build working relationships across the organization
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint in order to produce reports, memos, and presentations
- Interest in a long-term career in Banking
- Ability to live and work in, Dallas or Houston; with potential opportunity in San Antonio, Fort Worth, or Austin based upon the line of business
- Proven leadership skills and community involvement
- Passion for financial services and superior client experiences
