SUMMARY:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Business Execution. Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Business Execution. Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Business Execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel with the ability to work with data and create reports consistently.
  • Strong experience in either a middle office/risk role and/or equivalent experience in supporting any CIB trading products.
  • Knowledge and understanding of securities and products including:
  • Profit and loss attribution
  • RMBS Pass-Through bonds pricing and risk
  • Strong operational experience with complicated transactions
  • New Issue Bonds
  • Re-securitization
  • Deal Structuring
  • OTC activities
  • FINRA (Trace)
  • Must be able to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with trading applications such as Bloomberg, Calypso, and Broadridge (Preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Access. (Preferred)
  • Visual Basic Application (VBA) in Microsoft Excel. (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • This contractor will be joining the Structured Products Group within CIB (corporate investment banking).
  • Will be supporting trade management activities, back-office settlements, and daily production of daily P&L reports.
  • The role directly supports trading and hedging activities across TBA contracts, treasuries, futures, options, interest rate swaps, & CDS Index swaps. Responsibilities include real time Profit & Loss generation and attribution, exception resolution, project management, position and trade maintenance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Interact closely with multiple business partners including Trading, Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Auditors, MBS Allocations, Business Managers, Project Managers, and our internal TRACE reporting group.
  • Work with external counterparties, including government housing agencies (Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae), in confirming new Issue requests, exchanges, and assuring trades settle appropriately. This individual will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks, as well as ad hoc requests and project work.
