POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four year college or university; and 7+ years of Regional Sales experience.
• Ability to maintain and create new relationships in a consultative sales manner.
• Ability to close deals through persuasive sales presentations.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the CPG food industry, industry knowledge and its inner workings, consumer, and competitive trends.
• Must be proficient with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and System 2000 forecasting and budgeting applications.
• Must live near major airports to travel within the Midwest/Southeast geographies.
• Remote work must live Outside of California

• Create and execute Annual Regional Plans and drive new incremental sales.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Operational Teams to maximize sales opportunities.
• Makes sales calls and presentations to Key Accounts within Region on a regular basis.
• Responsible for actively leading and managing Broker networks that includes objective setting with the 4P’s principles, product training, tracking, coaching, and hiring/firing in respective Region.
• Develops comprehensive sales strategies for each Customer and prospective Customer.
• Provides Market intelligence and communicates internally on a timely basis.
