We have an exciting opportunity for a midwife to work as a part of the team at the operating theatres for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Level 9 Operating Theatres provide acute and elective obstetrics and gynaecology perioperative services 24 hours. We are looking for a suitable candidate to be part of a high performing, tight knit and supportive team having a common passion for delivering a high-quality, safe and sustainable care to our wāhine and pēpē.

TE WHIWHINGA MAHI| THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Liver team at Te Toka Tumai Auckland as a Liver Nurse specialist with specialty focus on Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) . Your primary responsibility is to provide specialised nursing care and case management to patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) along the patient pathway from diagnosis, through their journey along either a palliative care pathway or referral to NZLTU for liver transplant assessment.
As a Nurse Specialist you will need to work autonomously as part of a supportive senior nursing and multidisciplinary team to provide care to our patient population. You will have clinical leadership in care delivery, care coordination, patient follow –up, procedural and diagnostic follow up and referrals to other specialists. The ideal candidate will have extensive surgical and/or liver nursing experience and be practising at a senior level, preferably with a postgraduate certificate or diploma in specialty nursing practice.
