Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for you to join Frimley health Foundation Trust as a clinical matron on the Frimley Park site.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who is ready to progress in their career. This post will require a unique and talented individual who will continue the strong clinical leadership of the outpatient services which includes antenatal clinics and diabetes services, Community Midwifery teams and safeguarding.
The service is looking for an experienced midwife to join the senior team, reporting to the Head of Midwifery and working with a group of impressive clinical midwifery matrons across both sites. You will be responsible for supporting the team in the achievement of excellent, safe, and efficient care. Your influence will have a positive impact on the quality-of-care provision within the maternity service.

For you to fit this role, you must be an experienced Band 7 practicing midwife with exceptional clinical capability. You will be aware of the importance of strong communications and networking and will be expected to work collaboratively with medical staff, midwives, support workers, students and other key stakeholders that influence maternity care.
To support you in this challenging role, the team will provide an excellent support structure and will encourage your personal development.
You should have substantial clinical midwifery experience, hold or be working towards a Master’s degree in a related subject or have equivalent experience.
This role requires physical onsite presence and is not suitable for home working.
There is an on-call commitment attached to this role.
