We are building a Mill & Fill asphalt paving crew that will be based from our Tauranga Depot situated in 58 Taurikura Dr, Tauriko. All roles are Full Time, Permanent opportunities with 40 hours guaranteed each week.
As part of our ongoing work on Downer maintenance contracts, we undertake a significant amount of surfacing repairs (Mill and Fill) annually. Surface repairs are done to maintain the safety of the existing roading infrastructure for motorist and also in preparation for further surfacing treatment. We undertake this important work with a combination of purpose-built pavement Profiler (Wirtgen Millers), skid steer (Bobcat) and Vogele pavers with all he tools to deliver the work Safely to a high standard.
For Safety, we undertake some work at night and this team will travel to support projects from the BOP to the Waikato. A good standard of accommodation will always be provided and Downer have attractive stay away allowance and penal (Overtime/Nighttime) allowances to support you while away from home.
