ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Post-secondary coursework in natural resource management, mineral exploration, environmental science, business or office administration or a related field;
- Working with legislation/regulatory documents, preferably in a government setting;
- Experience working in a client service setting, providing information to and working collaboratively with the general public and diverse client groups;
- Experience working with the Yukon mining regulatory and assessment processes in the context of land claims (i.e. Umbrella Final Agreement Final Agreements and Yukon First Nation Final Agreements) would be an asset;
- Experience working with Indigenous groups to share and gather information on First Nation’s interests, values and concerns would be an asset.
Candidates who have a combination of education, training and experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.
