Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to continued successful contract growth with prestigious long-term client, CBRE GWS offer an exciting opportunity for highly skilled facilities technician that would electrical qualified.
The technician shall be responsible for day to day running of all elements of the reactive and planned maintenance on the contract.
This shall include but not limited to generators, electrical distribution boards, general services, small power, lighting, lighting control, emergency lighting, containment, fire alarm, security systems, protective services, HVAC Systems and building fabric maintenance and repairs etc.
Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE (BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO).
- Fault finding of electrical systems
- The delivery of all planned maintenance in line with the contract
- The delivery of all reactive maintenance in line with the contract
- Ensure all KPI’s / SLAs are met in line with the contract The implementation of self-perform maintenance tasks on the contract through the CMMS/CAFM system.
- The management of third-party maintenance contracts
- The implementation of reactive maintenance as required. This includes the response to management and closure of tickets through the client’s online ticket system and reactive maintenance as assigned by the lead electrical technician through the CMMS/CAFM system.
- Devise preventative measures to avoid equipment breakdown and maintain business continuity.
- Creation and maintenance of asset lists and historic records
- Research & development of proposals to improve the performance of the electrical systems.
- The reviewing of third-party risk assessments and methods statements and the awarding of permits through the permitting system
- Management of onsite minor works projects
- Attendances where require assisting project teams on large scale refurbishments, fit outs or new builds associated with contract.
- Attendance at client meetings when required by the Contract Manager
- The maintenance and upkeep (cleaning and tidying) of the plant areas
- The completion of weekly building walkthroughs to identify any electrical issues which need attention.
- The electrical cover of some bank holidays (done on a Rota basis within the team) The position will require some or all elements of the work to be performed on a shift basis, outside of normal working hours and normal working area
- Be innovate, lead from the front, drive value and efficiencies
