ABOUT THE ROLE
The Bloomfield Group is seeking to appoint a Mobile Equipment Project Supervisor to join our team in a Group role. The role will be responsible for providing support, guidance and recommendations on the acquisition, maintenance and disposal of the Group mobile equipment in order to drive safe, effective, low cost, productive plant and equipment strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research plant and equipment options in order to make recommendations / submissions on procurement, disposal and maintenance as directed by the Manager Plant & Equipment
- Sourcing, supervising and coordinating the introduction of new plant and equipment
- Development and review of the mobile equipment preventative maintenance programs to be established within the business’ computerised systems
- Provide support for the effective short and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling of mobile plant and equipment including allocating appropriate resources and personnel
- Collect and analyse maintenance data as required from varying sources and use to provide preventative maintenance direction to the sites
- Analysis of mobile equipment cost drivers, down time and availabilities as directed in order to make recommendations for structural improvement in machine unit cost and performance
- Supervising and coordinating investigations into identified issues or concerns with particular machinery as directed by the Manager of Plant and Equipment
- Support the Plant and Equipment team with the CMMS
- Working with other personnel within the Operations and Engineering team, other supporting departments across the Group and the contracted suppliers by providing maintenance support as required
- Maximising the utilisation of maintenance resources through the development of an effective maintenance plan
