We are now looking for a committed Network Systematization Engineer to be located in Rosenheim, Germany.
We focus on advanced passive and active antenna systems from 2G to 5G and beyond. We’re engaged in antenna systemization to improve overall system performance, drive and secure antenna technology and development. The team is involved in all aspects of the product development process, technical studies, pre-development and designs for high volume products.
Your role will include antenna system engineering activities such as: requirement analysis, technical investigations on the performance of base station antenna products and new developments in the network and simulation tool development.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • A Master’s or above in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent.
  • Advanced MATLAB knowledge, experience in antenna simulations software like HFSS, CST
  • Good understanding of channel modelling, cellular networks and MIMO systems
  • Good understanding of 3GPP and cellular networks.

  • Strong understanding of RF- and antenna principles, understanding of base station antenna architectures

  • Work experience across interdisciplinary teams

  • Teamwork mentality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Scientific expertise or work experience in research projects is an advantage
  • Effective written and spoken communications skill in English. German language knowledge is an advantage

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will drive and participate in antenna systems engineering activities such as antenna performance analysis, requirement analysis, simulation tools development. In particular but not limited to:

  • Perform technical investigations on the performance of base station antenna products and new developments in the network
  • Contribute to the development of network simulation tools for system analysis
  • Drive and participate in studies regarding requirements and system solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new challenges and opportunities for antenna developments
  • Support product managers, R&D, business, and market units regarding product documentation, development, technical customer requirements, and further requests.
