    We’re on the search for a passionate Mobilisation and Onboarding Officer to join the People Team at M2P. This isn’t just any role - it’s an opportunity to do your career, the way it should be. You’ll join our vibrant team, coordinating the onboarding and mobilisation of our workforce to remote project locations all around Australia.

Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation with a collaborative culture. The Mobilisation and Onboarding Officer is responsible for assisting our teams to get ready for work. This is a role that requires energy, strong customer service, problem solving skills, the ability to build rapport and be flexible to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
The Pay: $75k base plus super. Negotiable depending on skills and experience.
The Office: Modern offices in beautiful Teneriffe, close to plenty of great restaurants, cafes and bars.

Some of the things you can expect to be involved in include:

  • Coordination of Pre-employment checks
  • Communication with the people we are onboarding, our internal teams, project teams medical providers and more. You’ll be the key to tying everything together and keeping everyone informed.
  • Ensuring compliance with business and client onboarding requirements
  • Assisting our people to complete all necessary employment paperwork, inductions, licensing etc.
  • Help out where needed with other ad-hoc duties within the People Team such as HR Admin and recruitment.

The work our people do on site, isn’t easy. It’s often long hours, in the most remote locations in some of the harshest conditions. Our people are resilient, and they have each other’s backs. It’s a real sense of mates looking after mates and rising to the challenge together. You’ll get to be a part of making this happen and getting these people there.

There are some important skills and experience we believe will support you in succeeding in this role, such as:

  • Experience in project-based employee mobilisation, particularly in the mining, construction, oil, gas and energy industry (not essential).
  • Problem solving skills and autonomy in your workflow.
  • Superior administrative skills and plenty of experience using Microsoft office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to accurately capture data.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and written, along with translating ideas into business documents and communications.
  • Being passionate about helping others and succeeding in your tasks in an efficient manner.
  • An enjoyment of learning new things and pivoting priorities at short notice as required.
