Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

  • Mobility and IOT are key strategic product portfolios in Vodafone underpinning our Mobility and IOT revenues. As the Mobility & IOT Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing and developing new Mobility and IOT Products for Vodafone Business.
  • You will do this by managing some of our existing Mobility and IOT Portfolio which includes products such Mobile Private Networks, Managed Mobility, Mobile Security, Device Lifecycle Management and IOT End to End solutions and IOT Connectivity.
  • You will also be working with our Group Product teams to identity new Product opportunities in your portfolio and launch new Mobility and IOT products to help scale Vodafone’s business.
  • The role in our Product Management team is Growth focused and the successful candidate needs excellent presentation, persuasion, and development skills, as well as the ability to position Vodafone and our go-to-market strategy to C-Level executives.
  • You will be working with an existing set of Mobility and IOT Products that you will help to grow existing revenue.
  • The role will identify new Mobility and IOT Product opportunities, jointly creating business plans with our Sales and Go to Market teams. You will be using the Vodafone Product Development Processes to launch these into the market.
  • In the role you will work with our existing Mobility and IOT Product Managers on the portfolio working in a team environment where you will be supported and developed in your role.
  • You will also work closely with our Partner Management teams who own strategic third-party relationships that may be part of products you manage or are building.
  • Mobility and IOT is one of our highest growth areas and very strategic for our business as we develop our digital channels, and we are looking for an experienced and driven individual to drive this Portfolio.
  • You will have ample opportunity to influence how the Mobility and IOT portfolio is developed and to influence and guide senior leadership in Vodafone Business on your SaaS Product Strategy.
  • It is a strategic role and a proven launch pad for senior management careers in Vodafone.

ESSENCE OF ROLE – KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deliver new products and manage in-life products in the Mobility and IOT Product Portfolios using the Vodafone Product Operating Model Methodology to optimise product performance, capability, and commercials, initiating resolving actions where necessary.
  • Driving product strategy (~3-year horizon) in line with local market requirements and Group Product Strategy
  • Is accountable for the commercial success of their products.
  • Capture and translate local customer needs into clear product capabilities and features or to improve performance of existing products.
  • Inputs into the VBU Product Roadmap, ensuring alignment with other Product Managers.
  • Works with the Sales, Commercial, Go To Market and operational teams to ensure all go-to-market and launch requirements are consistent, scalable and aligned.
  • Drives a clear sales strategy and operational plan with key partners. Where assigned works with the Strategic Partnership team to leverage all partner programs and promotion offers to drive SaaS sales
  • Drives product success through product differentiation, value-add & execution strategies to underpin their product’s success.
  • Work closely with our Strategic Partner Management team to identify new partners to accelerate speed to market for IOT End to End Solutions.
