EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+5 years’, Master +7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in hardware engineering, with specific experience in developing deployable hardware systems
• Experience applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify highly-complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities, adept at conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience in leading and coordinating work to translate requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in database management systems and electronic systems development.
