Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

UST is looking for a talented Modern Desktop and device management consultant to join our team in London. This role sits within End User Services. In this role you will be expected to design and deliver new Services for the client across a variety of Technical Services that fall under the Modern Desktop Product Scope. This role is a predominately Design/ Project-oriented role, with an expected 80/20 delivery / support workload split.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES:

  • Delivering service and new technical services in-line with the Infrastructure and EUS OKR’s
  • Recognised expert in the design and delivery of high-quality IT services
  • Providing technical governance across Projects, BAU and related SIPs
  • Engaging wider designers and architects to achieve programme consistency.
  • Advising colleagues/ customers of feasibility and risks of potential solutions and support creation of initiatives
  • Creating Infrastructure designs, performing solution evaluation as needed against requirements – balancing requirements, costs and risk.
  • Peer-reviewing design documents from virtual Design team, identifying opportunities for shared platforms/ products, simplification & cost reduction.
  • Managing and monitoring workload through JIRA EPICS and Stories.
  • Ensuring compliance and striving for “evergreen” services in relation to security
  • Defining detailed activity and resource plans to deliver project & SIP outcomes.
  • Delivering new Technical Services as part of a Project team/ managing 3rd party services, delivery partners and external vendors to deliver solutions.
  • Being an evangelist within the IT community, using Viva, SharePoint, Teams etc.
  • Feeding into the products strategy, IT strategy, roadmaps and standards & engaging product vendors/ whilst maintaining IT/ industry awareness as necessary
