Job Location: Remote: Located within British Columbia or Alberta
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is intended for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced individual excited about the opportunity to use technology to help drive customer success while building a successful business with a collaborative and customer-centric culture.
This role falls within our Professional Services team and is primarily responsible for the delivery of projects in support of our clients. The Modern Workplace Consultant works in a collaborative method with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects through all project phases.
The employee will be required to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in translating business
requirements into technical solutions, while communicating project needs, constraints, and successes.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE
- 10+ years’ relevant work experience.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online and Intune)
- Proven experience with SharePoint/OneDrive migration projects using 3rd party migration tools.
- Excellent PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph skills
- Strong experience with SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and Teams administration.
- Strong understanding of the project delivery process, as it relates to technical requirements, task dependency and implementation.
- Working knowledge of SAML-based federation for cloud-based applications.
- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID and synchronization mechanisms.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Conditional Access policies.
- Nice to have experience: Teams Voice implementation, new setup, or number porting.
- Nice to have experience: Intune configuration, administration, and implementation.
- Nice to have experience: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager implementation, upgrades, packaging, and troubleshooting.
- Nice to have experience: Azure Virtual Desktop and Remote Desktop Services deployment and troubleshooting.
- Nice to have experience: Power Automate or Power Platform development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally permitted to work within Canada.
- Hold a valid Driver’s License and vehicle.
- Are proficient in business English (written/verbal) communication
- Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE
- Provide IT support and technical solutions to a broad range of clients.
- Conduct readiness assessments in client environments and provide input on next steps and phases of work to be conducted.
- Provide training and guidance to clients within the Microsoft modern work ecosystem in adherence to internal and Microsoft best practices.
- Plan and execute SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online implementation or migration projects ensuring compliance with organizational retention and compliance requirements and best practices.
- Technical Lead on projects from initial assessment, design, planning, through to implementation and handover.
- Work with your Project Manager to build an accurate project task list and schedule.
- Work with your Project Manager to ensure timely project updates, roadblock, issues, schedule changes, and risks are communicated, as required.
- Troubleshoot user issues as they pertain to Microsoft modern workplace technologies.
- Troubleshoot core on-premises/hybrid Microsoft services:
- Active Directory
- Azure AD Connect
- Certificate Services
