Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Modification Production Control Coordinator to support the P-8A Poseidon at Jacksonville, Florida.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years working with or within one of the following: MRO operations (maintenance, repair and overhaul), materials management, supply chain, and/or production control, in aviation environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products).
- Strong interpersonal communications skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met.
- Experience working with commercial derivative aircraft platform.
- Understanding of Lean, continuous/process improvement methodology.
- Earn value management experience is a plus.
TYPICAL EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
Responsibilities:
- Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
- Monitors work in process.
- Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
- Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Works under general supervision.
