Summary: Provide engineering expertise for designing complex tooling, supporting new company strategies, and executing as required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of experience in mold design.
- 3-5 years of experience in Siemens NX Software.
- 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of the Moldflow process.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Engineering (Preferred) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete design and surfacing of molds from concept to completion.
- Identify and communicate any issues that may hinder the quality and integrity of the finished product.
- Utilize research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.
- Design and surface projects using established engineering principles and techniques aligned with company and customer standards.
- Order job materials as required.
- Ensure that all designs comply with the company and customer standards.
- Use the hot runner system to compare drawings to customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness and prepare information for quotes.
- Design water cooling systems, chart, and dimension 3D surfaces to check for collisions.
- Complete final mold designs, including effective ejection and mechanisms.
- Create 3D molds, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Implement engineering changes.
- Work with offshore teams as required.
- Uphold the Health and Safety policy and work in a safe manner, reporting any unhealthy conditions or acts.
- Complete any other assignments, duties, and projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information received from customers/companies.
