Description:

AS THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT, YOU WILL HAVE:

REQUIREMENTS AND RELEVANT INFORMATION:

  • One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
  • One (1) x part time, ongoing position available.
  • If the position/s is part time, the salary plus superannuation will be pro rata.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • This position requires shift work as indicated in the Position Description (as attached to the advertisement).
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Investigative Support Group (ISG) – Crime Command is seeking a Monitor to join our team, supporting investigators in the monitoring and analysis of listening device interceptions, and at time telecommunications interceptions.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • The review and summary of information from listening devices and telecommunications interceptions
  • Assisting investigators with the analysis and interpretation of intercepted information
  • Maintaining and populating databases, data entry, word processing and spreadsheets
  • This role is a shift work position. ISG operates 24/7 and night shift, weekend and public holidays work will be required.
