In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a passionate Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Coordinator to join our Melbourne based team.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll play a key role supporting the team to carry out a variety of monitoring, evaluation and learning activities that enables the organisation to understand what impact it is making for men across 6 countries and beyond.
Your focus will be on coordinating program monitoring, working with a variety of program teams to ensure they can measure and report on the impact they are making. With the guidance of MEL Managers, you will convert monitoring data into learnings and coordinate the production of knowledge sharing assets such as infographics, case studies, videos and presentations. Importantly, the insights you uncover will be disseminated to executives and the board as well as external audiences.
You’ll coordinate the timely and accurate data collection and reporting that is needed to inform a variety of stakeholders including internal program teams and external partners that Movember funds. You will also support the sourcing, collation and analysis of population health data that is critical to supporting our yearly Movember campaign as well as meeting ad-hoc data requests and supporting evaluations with meticulous attention to detail.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Richmond office. You will work in a team that is highly collegial with team members who will support you to continue to develop your MEL skills.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED

  • Relevant undergraduate qualifications in public/population health, psychology, health research and/or evaluation, implementation science or a related health discipline.
  • Experience in conducting literature reviews and desktop grey literature reviews.
  • Experience in supporting the development of theories of change / program logics
  • Experience in coordinating MEL activities including the development of data collection tools (surveys, interview discussion guides, etc), writing sections of MEL plans, constructing data collection matrices/frameworks, and reviewing evaluation reports.
  • Experience in using a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Experience in communicating research and/or evaluation results to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums and channels.
  • Demonstrated skills in anticipating and solving problems.
  • Experience working in the health sector or social research field.
