Sky Group is looking for a Monitoring Strategy Specialist.
Our CT&I Department is looking for a passionate Tech Analyst to work across multiple platforms and support Operations teams by defining and implementing monitoring.
This role will be key in maintaining the quality of Sky operations as well as the stability of our platforms. If you stand out as a leader in Monitoring working with developers to deliver quality software at every step, then we would like to hear from you.

Tasks

• You’ll be responsible for the technical requirements analysis process for specific tasks to be included in the roadmap - assessing risks & describing potential issues, APIs and sequence diagrams
• You understand the architectural vision and help translate the high-level architecture into solution components and capabilities
• You’ll work closely with the local operations and support teams to shape the monitoring strategy and develop KPIs - You’ll also work with Solution Architects & Tech Lead and contribute to the development of reliable and resilient platforms and services
• Your task is to ensure solution designs that are technically feasible and fulfil the company’s SLAs - close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is part of your daily business
• You’ll play a key role in defining the group-wide strategy - ensuring CT&I’s teamwork to improve tasks and reduce the workload

Requirements

• You’ve a degree in computer science, engineering, media and communication technology or a comparable qualification and 5-6 years of experience in the field of development, implementation and project management in the OTT sector
• Through your professional experience, you¿ve acquired expertise in current and new technologies in the broadcast and streaming / OTT sector (adaptive bitrate encoding, HLS, DASH packaging, DRM, CDN delivery, virtualisation, cloud solutions, etc.) as well as knowledge of the entire system life cycle and an awareness of new technologies in the broadcast and television industry
• You’d describe yourself as communicative & motivated - you also maintain a good network by building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Your knowledge of the interaction and functioning of software systems and/or platforms, with the motivation to understand technical details, can be demonstrated through practical experience
• Good English skills round off your profile
