ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong Mortgage Operations and Reconciliations Experience
  • 2-3 years’ industry experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Arms Net/ or another trading system experience (preferred)
  • Funds management experience is ideal but not essential

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join Australian Unity’s Wealth & Capital Markets (W&CM) business!
As a Mortgage Administrator you will effecitvely manage and oversee the Administrative processes and procedures of the Mortgages Department ensuring deadlines and service standards are adhered to at all times. You will be required to develop a deep understanding of the main trading and support systems and use this understanding to provide system support and automation where applicable.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Successfully manage all Loan portfolios post settlement
  • Ensure all loans are setup correctly in Arms Net Ensure accurate interest is accrued and charged in accordance with loan documents
  • Manage day to day relationship with Custodian
  • Calculate Payout figures, ensuring all collectable fees and charges under the Mortgage contract are allowed for and collected towards Fee income.
  • Instruct Panel Solicitors to prepare Discharge of Mortgage documentation, outlining any Settlement requirements.
  • Instruct Custodian to forward Security Documentation to Panel Solicitor and authorise execution of Documentation as necessary.
  • Respond to Borrower/Borrower Solicitor outlining process and requirements.
  • Undertake Transaction Monitoring on loan repayments
  • Where possible investigate and develop automation opportunities within current daily/monthly processes
