Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lending, with a focus on mortgage brokerage.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, lending practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)) are a plus.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Mortgage Broker/Lender to join their team. This will be considered a true trajectory to Senior Management and a key member of their lending division, you will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial mortgage transactions for their diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial lending, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including property developers, investors, and business owners.
  • Analyse financial data and market trends to assess the feasibility of commercial mortgage transactions.
  • Structure loan packages tailored to the unique needs of clients, considering factors such as loan-to-value ratios, debt service coverage, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and legal counsel, to facilitate the loan approval and closing process.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the life of the loan, ensuring a positive experience and fostering long-term relationships.
